After beating the game, Gym Leaders will appear at different spots in the overworld at certain times. After finding them, they will offer the player to have a rematch at the Vermillion City Arena. Kanto leaders can be rematched after defeating the Elite Four and Johto leaders (also Giovanni) can be rematched after defeating Mt. Silver. Gym Leaders must be found at various locations in the overworld before rematching them. The Johto leaders and Giovanni only appear after Mt. Silver. Chuck and Jas
