Encounter is the 4th chapter of the manga adaption of Date A Live, with illustrations done by Ringo, and story based on the light novels. For practice, Kotori instructs Shido to try to seduce Tamae. When Shido questions if she is serious, his little sister tells him that seducing Spirits will be a lot harder. In the hallways, Shido meets Tamae on Kotori's instructions and starts to compliment her. As Kotori notices Shido overdid his compliments towards Tamae, Reine intervenes and tells Shido to
